We're looking for a strong, experienced automation developer for a role that's mostly hands on. The core stack: a self-hosted n8n installation on Docker with Postgres, API integrations with enterprise systems, and an LLM layer with structured output and human approval. The work starts in the field — talking with managers and the teams themselves, understanding a business and operational pain point, translating it into a spec, and above all, building the automations yourself.
Design end-to-end data flow, from scattered sources into one organized data layer
Decide where the line falls between deterministic logic and a model's judgment
Own the production layer itself: separate environments, testing, monitoring, an audit log, and failure recovery
Work directly with the field — managers and teams — understanding the pain point, spec'ing it, and building an automation that actually works
At least 3 years of experience building automations that run in production at real organizations
Deep command of n8n or Make, including dropping into code (JavaScript or Python)
Hands-on experience with enterprise system APIs: permissions, rate limits, failures, idempotency
Engineering-grade integration of LLMs: structured output, cost control, quality measurement, and falling back to deterministic logic
Comfortable with Git and a Linux/Docker server environment: deploying, updating, and maintaining self-hosted services
Fluent Hebrew, spoken and written, for direct conversations with clients and their teams
Comfortable writing SQL to query and shape data in Postgres or similar databases
Experience working directly with external clients or stakeholders, as a consultant or freelancer
AI processes in Hebrew, familiarity with Israeli systems (Priority, Hashavshevet, and similar), self hosted environments, RAG in production.
